A MOTHER went from PR manager to charity fundraiser after watching her own mum lose a battle against cancer.
Now she is looking for help to get people onto the streets and take part in a 24 hour Relay For Life, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Lucy Squance, from College Road, Abbots Langley, lost her mum Gail Jakes, 46, to non-Hodgkins lymphoma in July 2003.
Relay For Life events are already planned in St Albans on Saturday, June 16, and in Harrow on Saturday, September 8.
For more information, telephone Lucy on 0870 402 9899 or 07795 470617, or visit www.cancerresearchuk.org/getinvolved/events/relayforlife.
