Furious parents who have been stopped from dropping their children off outside a Bushey nursery claim "it is only a matter of time before a child is killed" crossing busy roads.
Chronic parking problems around Bushey Ganim pre-schools, part of Bushey Synagogue in Sparrows Herne, have infuriated parents who have been told by Hertsmere Borough Council not to stop and drop off their children in the small driveway outside the schools.
The small lay-by is still being used by buses and school coaches, but parents have been told not to stop for safety reasons.
Instead parents are forced to hunt for spaces on residential roads off Sparrows Herne, and away from the school, and cross the busy junction of Elstree Road and the High Road.
