The husband of the teacher accused of having sex with a schoolboy says he is standing by his wife.
Paul Saville-King told the jury at St Albans Crown Court how during his wife's pregnancy there were changes to her body which she found quite embarrassing.
They included leakage problems from her breasts which is common place for many pregnant women.
Because of fears for the baby he said they also stopped having sex for the last three months of her pregnancy.
Barrister Sarah Foreshaw who defends Jenine Saville-King asked what he thought of the suggestion that during this time his wife was supposed to be having sex with a young boy two or three times a week.
He said: "To me it just doesn't stack up with the way she felt about her body. She was very embarrassed about the leakage from her breasts and things like that."
Asked if he was still supporting his wife he replied "absolutely".
Eaalier in her cross examination of Mrs Saville-King, Ann Evans prosecuting said: "The evidence is staring you in the face and you still won't admit it.
"You seduced this boy whilst he was still under age and it moved to a relationship that progressed to full sex after his 16th birthday.
She replied "That's not true."
