After Katie Cornelius won her battle with breast cancer she vowed to give something back to the hospital that treated her.
And the teaching assistant from Bovingdon proved true to her word when she recently presented a cheque to Mount Vernon Hospital's cancer centre.
Katie, from Ashridge Close, said: "I never thought I would wake up with cancer but I've been very positive all the way through. I do not see myself as being brave; I just get on with life and do not think about it. "
