Residents in Three Rivers are more satisfied than ever with their district council, according to a new survey.

The findings of MORI research findings - released in draft format today - found: 1. Eighty-six per cent of residents are satisfied with refuse collection (compared to 77 per cent three years ago).

2. Eighty-four per cent are satisfied with household recycling collection (compared to 74 per cent three years ago).

3. Eighty-two are satisfied with parks and open spaces (compared to 70 per cent three years ago).

4. Seventy four per cent of residents are satisfied with the way the council keeps land clear of litter and refuse (compared to 62% three years ago).

The survey also found people felt drunkeness and rowdiness was less of a problem now than it was three years ago, and concern about vandalism and graffiti had dropped from 61 per cent to 42 per of residents.
