Teachers and staff at a South Oxhey primary school are taking part in a walking challenge in aid of Keech Cottage Children's Hospice.
The walk, which takes place on Sunday, April 29, starts at the centre of Tring and follows a scenic pathway across Tring Park, and along the Grand Union Canal.
Greenfields Primary School's secretary Tina Merideth said: "We've never done a fundraising event for Keech Cottage before, but we received some information about the walk and decided it would be nice to do something for someone else."
All the money raised will go towards helping the children's hospice support over 160 life-limited children from across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.
