THREE Rivers Conservative group leader John Pendlebury has announced he will be stepping down after three years in the role.
Mr Pendlebury and his wife Juliet have served the Moor Park and Eastbury wards for almost ten years between them.
But the Conservative leader says he has other commitments, including two sons in Australia, which he wants to devote his time to. The Conservative group will meet after the local elections in May to elect a new leader.
Ralph Sangster, of South Approach, Northwood, will be standing for Moor Park and Eastbury in the elections. He will be running against Liberal Democrat candidate Jeremy Campion, of Russell Road, Northwood, and Green Party candidate Andy Lewis, of Pembroke Road, Northwood.
