Meet Haley Monaghan, a 17-year-old from South Oxhey vying for the title of Miss Hertfordshire.
The teenager, who studies childcare at West Herts College, hopes to raise funds for a children's charity while competing for the crown.
All the women in the competition have to raise as much money for charity as they can and Haley selected the Make a Wish Foundation for terminally ill children.
In doing so, she hopes she can bring "something extra" to the competition.
