A range of free art events will be taking place in parks and open spaces around the Three Rivers district in support of Love Parks Week later this month.
Three Rivers District Council’s leisure team is hosting outdoor storytelling sessions courtesy of ‘Storytent’, nature inspired arts and craft activities and a family-friendly photography walk where all you need is a Smartphone and your imagination.
Storytent will be a drop-in activity led by Kathryn Holt on Monday, July 27, from 11am to 2pm, in The Aquadrome, outside The Café in the Park in Forgmoor Lane, Rickmansworth, and on Tuesday, July 28, from 1pm to 4pm, in Greenfield Avenue play area in Carpenders Park.
The photography walk will take place around Chorleywood House Estate, led by experienced grounds guide and professional photographer Pete Stevens.
There will be the opportunity to learn how to take the best pictures on your Smartphone, tablet or digital camera, while picking up handy tips on basic composition, resolution and how to use natural lighting.
The walk will take place on Wednesday, July 29 between 10.30am and 12.30pm, but spaces are limited so booking is essential.
To book a space, call 01923 776611.
