A Garston restaurant wants the help of local teachers to create education packs to improve children's understanding of food and healthy eating.
The Harvester in St Albans Road wants primary school teachers to come forward to help produce the packs which use food as a theme within areas of the national curriculum including English, Personal Health and Social Education.
A Key Stage One pack, targeting children between four and seven, will look at the importance of food and where it comes from while the Key Stage Two pack, catering for children between seven and 11, will look at balanced diets and food groups.
Teachers wishing to get involved should email jess@haslimanntaylor.com or call 0121 362 4027.
