A BIRD so extravagantly deformed it has difficulty feeding itself has been visiting a Welwyn Garden City garden.
Leonard Bennett of Heather Road, who spotted the The blue tit, said: "Its beak is six or seven times the normal length.
"It has difficulty feeding itself, but it manages to pick things up, throw back its head and swallow them.
"It can't feed from my nut feeders, but it goes on the bird table."
