A TAXI driver has lost his licence after admitting stealing from the Post Office where he also worked.

Quaiser Qureshi pleaded guilty at Hemel Hempstead Magistrates' Court to two counts of theft of mail that took place at the end of March 2007.

Three Rivers District Council decided to remove Mr Qureshi's permit for his taxi "on the grounds that he had been convicted for an offence of dishonesty in his work".
