A NEW school crossing patrol is helping to see children at Harvey Road Primary School across the road safely, filling a post which was vacant for 13 years.
Jane Field, a former caretaker at the Croxley Green School will be taking on the job, following fears over the safety of pupils.
The Road Safety Unit also has vacancies in other areas and would like to hear from anyone interested in giving up to 7.5 hours a week. Patrols can earn up to £6.41 an hour. For details telephone 01992 556815.
