DANCE host Mr Wonderful will be helping Three Rivers residents to shake off their winter blues on Tuesday.
He will be guiding people through an afternoon of quickstepping, waltzing and tangoing, with dance lessons also available for an hour beforehand for anyone whose dancing feet are a little rusty.
The popular tea dances returned to Watersmeet last year and have proved a big hit.
Councillor Chris Whately-Smith, Leisure and Community portfolio holder, said: "We hope to see lots of local residents coming along to the first tea dance of the year. They've been really popular so far, and rightly so - dancing is a great way to keep fit and active and it's a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon."
The afternoon costs just £3 for the tea dance, or £5 for a lesson and the tea dance. Lessons take place from 1pm to 2pm on the day, and the tea dance takes place 2pm to 4pm. Free car parking for up to two hours is available; anyone who needs to park for longer than two hours can purchase a £1.50 permit from the box office on the day.
To book a place for the tea dance contact the District Council's Leisure department on 01923 779392.
