A train hit a tree lying across the track between Chorleywood and Rickmansworth today (Wednesday).
Police were called to the incident under the M25 bridge at 8.17am this morning (Wednesday).
The incident did not cause a derailment and no injuries have been reported.
Fire and police crews are working to remove the tree and assist the 79 passengers who were on the train.
The line has now reopened.
