TV crews have been spotted in Croxley Green.
Doctor Foster is being filmed in Green Lane, near The Artichoke and production crews confirmed there were plans to film in the pub later this week.
When the series was first announced last year, producers said the show was about a doctor who suspects her husband is having an affair and tries to discover the truth.
But Doctor Jenny Foster makes a series of discoveries that the crew said will “shock her to the core”.
Mike Barlett, writer and executive producer, said in a statement for the BBC when the show was announced: “My ambition with Doctor Foster is to put an intelligent, empowered woman at the centre of the drama and give her a huge battle to overcome, both in her personal and professional life.
“I am delighted to be working with Drama Republic and the BBC on this exciting drama that is truthful, complicated and thrilling.”
The series will be comprised of five 60 minute episodes and has been made by Drama Republic for BBC One.
