THE TRADITIONAL rivalry between two Kings Langley schools was put aside for an afternoon of football on Friday.
The match promoted good relations between the two schools, following an incident last October in which a Rudolf Steiner pupil was assaulted by a Kings Langley School student.
Teams representing both schools met each other on the pitch at Longdean Sportspace, Rumballs Road, Hemel Hempstead, for a friendly kick-about at a tournament organised by police officers to improve community relations.
The tournament roster was completed with sides from the police, teachers, Longdean School and Sportspace.
