CONCERNS are growing for a Watford 16-year-old who has been missing since Thursday.
Thomas Beatty's whereabouts are still unknown although police say he telephoned his mother on Saturday.
Investigator Kim Pearce said: "We are now growing concerned about his safety and well-being because he is only 16 and therefore vulnerable and we do not know where he is."
He is described as a white boy, of proportionate build with collar-length light brown hair, double braces and a stud in his left ear.
He was carrying a Nike sports bag containing clothes on Thursday.
He was last seen wearing a plain grey hooded top, light jeans, a green and grey motorbike jacket and Addidas trainers.
Anybody who knows his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0845 3300 222.
