Have you always been waiting for your Hogwarts letter? As the dreaded back to school apprehension mounts, Warner Bros. is offering a magical escape.
For one week only, The Making of Harry Potter offers you an invitation of a lifetime. Grab your broomsticks and fly on down to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London for a very special filmmaking workshop, complete with the chance to design your own spellbinding sets.
The invisibility cloaks are off! From Friday, September 5 to Sunday, September 14 The Studio Tour will reveal the filmmaking secrets that helped to bring the iconic sets of Harry Potter to life.
Visitors will have the extraordinary opportunity to create a card model like those used in the early stages of the design process, and experience the process that illuminated the lofty pinnacles of Hogwarts castle and the eccentric charm of Diagon Alley.
As well as witnessing ingenious camera and post-production techniques, visitors will also be able to draw up storyboards for their own original story idea, after discovering the hidden methods that help the director, cinematographer, and artists to imagine a scene or the film as a whole.
So abandon your school uniform, and don your Hogwarts robes! Have the chance to see the costumes of chivalrous Gryffindor, cunning Slytherin, clever Ravenclaw, and cool Hufflepuff up close, and dress up in replica robes as you fly on a broomstick through the beautiful grounds of Hogwarts castle. Jump into Ron’s flying Ford Anglia and be prepared to depart on a bumpy and exhilarating ride, avoiding the notorious Whomping Willow. See the majestic Great Hall dressed for O.W.L. examinations as it was in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and experience all aspects of life at Hogwarts!
Step into Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s shoes as you journey into the world of authentic sets, bewitching props, and eerie costumes at the charming Harry Potter Studio Tour. It will leave you absolutely spellbound.
