Tribute has been paid to a "kind, considerate" and "reliable" Croxley Green man whose body was found in Watford General Hospital car park.
Brian Lane, who died on September 26, was discovered in the Cardiff Road car park.
The 53-year-old man, from Canterbury Way, was an employee at the hospital.
The chief executive of West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, Samantha Jones, has paid tribute to Mr Lane.
She said: "I was extremely saddened to hear of Brian’s death and our thoughts are with his family and friends at what will be a very difficult time for them.
"Brian was a respected member of our team and was much liked by colleagues within his department and from across our hospitals.
"Brian has been described to me in many different ways, including as being kind, considerate, reliable, professional and hard working. He was also passionate about the NHS and committed to playing his part in ensuring we deliver the best possible care to our patients.
"We have been in regular contact with Brian’s family and will do all we possibly can to support them over the coming weeks and months."
An inquest has been opened and adjourned into his death.
