Nick joined our company 04/05/2021. Nick was learning the ropes from my parents Carole and John. He was literally thrown in at the deep end when both my parents passed away from Covid December 2021. He took control and made Dampcure Woodcure his own. Nick was part of the Darling family, my Husband and was my rock taking responsibility of the company until I could work again. He helped me to build the company up and bring it into the Twenty First Century by updating our system in every way you could think of. If we were short of labourers/staff, he’d roll up his sleeves and go help our men which he thoroughly enjoyed. Nick very sadly passed away within a matter of weeks from becoming ill to his diagnosis. He was our six-foot, gentle giant and heart and soul of our family and business. Thank you for everything that you did for our Family business and our family. We will miss Nick forever and always. Rest In Eternal Peace Nick, until we meet again.
