HUNTINGFORD, MBE Joyce Catherine Passed away in the Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban, aged 86 years, she will be sadly missed. Funeral will take place at St. John's Cathedral, Oban, on Tuesday, 14th August 2018 at 1.00 p.m. to which all are welcome. Bright colours to be worn at Joyce's request please. Family flowers only. I have only just discovered this sad news...Joyce was my Godmother, but sadly for one reason or another, we were not close. I missed her Christmas card this year and my mum rang tonight concerned that she could not get hold of her...I looked Joyce up online the WWW and found this obituary. As a child, she used to frighten me...don't know why...she just seemed very stern. When I saw her at my wedding some years ago now, I saw a different lady and now wish I'd been able to get to knowher. A memory from my childhood that will stay with me was that she ate all of the fish including the skin...as I do now. Rest in Peace with your sister Joyce xxx
