OWEN, Margaret Much loved eldest daughter of Barbara and the late Jack Owen and dearest sister of Helen, Sarah and Jane, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday 18th January aged 67 years. Her untimely death was a shock to her entire family, friends and colleagues. She will be so greatly missed. Her funeral service will take place at West Herts Crematorium on Friday 5th February at 12.00 noon followed by a Remembrance Service at St Marys Church, Rickmansworth at 2.00pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Three Rivers Museum Trust or Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal c/o James Peddle 01923 772013

I am incredibly saddened to hear of Margaret's untimely passing. Whilst I spoke to her only briefly in the course of my visits to Three Rivers Museum, her extremely welcoming nature and passionate flair for history shined through. I witnessed first hand her artistic talent as a curator there - a skill that will no doubt be sorely missed by the entire trust and of course by every future visitor to TRM. Her legacy will however thankfully remain in all the wonderful work she did on displays - a fitting tribute to such a compassionate individual. Farewell
