Entering its 40th season The Dacorum Symphony Orchestra will be playing a whole host of favourites at its next concert, which takes place in Berkhamsted School’s Centenary Theatre.
The orchestra, conducted by Thomas Loten, will perform a programme to include Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 performed by pianist, Stuart Davies.
Stuart graduated with Honours from Trinity College of Music in London. As a student he performed both as recitalist and concerto soloist at many London venues including Steinway Hall, St John’s Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields.
The concert will also feature Barber’s Adagio for Strings, two sections from Holst’s The Planets, Mars & Jupiter, as well as a short suite from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
