Fresh vocal talent is required to swell the ranks at St Albans Choral Society.
The 90-strong group is holding an open rehearsal this month to find new recruits in preparation for its spring concert at St Albans cathedral, a performance of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, April 21.
“We would welcome new voices, and currently have vacancies in all sections,” says music director George Vass. “Whether you have sung in a choir previously or not, if you enjoy singing, have a reasonable voice, and like a musical challenge, we would love to hear from you.”
The open rehearsal takes place on Thursday, January 26 at Dagnall Street Baptist Church, Upper Dagnall Street, St Albans at 7.45pm. Details: 01727 831838, membership@choralsociety.com
