Radlett’s creative community comes together this month for the first Art Expo Radlett with a wide variety of artists exhibiting in The Radlett Centre’s Foyer and Apthorp Galleries.
Items on display include photography, glass art, sculpture and collectables. Exhibitors include sculptor Milena Goodman, glass artist Mark Caddy, equine artist Elizabeth Armstrong, figurative and abstract artist Hadyn Dickenson and Sam Peacock, who uses a mix of recycled metals and industrial paints to create landscape pieces.
In addition to the show, visitors have the chance to meet many of the artists on Wednesday, January 11 from 6pm to 9pm.
There is also a one-day Art and Antiques Fair on Sunday, January 15 from 10.30am to 4pm featuring signed limited editions by Rolf Harris, Jack Vettriano and a Beryl Cook Exhibition.
Visitors can meet with gold medal winning athlete and acclaimed sculptor Donald Brown and take part in antiques valuations by Bushey Auctions. A donation for each item valued goes to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. Call 01727 834391 to book a time.
Children can also take part in balloon sculpting and face painting throughout the day.
The Art Expo runs from January 6-27, Monday to Saturday 10am-4pm at The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Avenue, Radlett. Details: 01923 859291, www.artexporadlett.co.uk
