A charity music night in Abbots Langley is set to raise funds for Age UK.
The 'Heat or Eat Charity Music Night' will take place on Thursday, December 12 at 7.30pm at the Henderson Hub.
The event, hosted by singer, songwriter, and author Alex Scott, will feature an "electric mix of pop, rock, country, soul, ballads, crooners, tributes, and original acoustic tunes."
Local talent including Ed Coan, John Knowles, Steve Last, Tom Lavin, Phil Matthews, Steve Parker, Rebecca Turner, and Vinikoff will perform.
The event aims to raise funds for Age UK, following the government's recent cuts to winter fuel payments.
A spokesperson for the event said: "In light of the government's recent cuts to winter fuel payments, we’re raising funds for Age UK to help those most affected: the elderly who are now faced with the heartbreaking choice of whether to heat or eat this winter.
"Your ticket helps support this vital cause while enjoying a night of amazing live music with friends, family, and community."
Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased at ticketsource.co.uk/thehub.
The event, which will run until late, is suitable for all ages, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
