Two Watford eateries have received food hygiene ratings in recent days, receiving three and four-star ratings, respectively.
Inspectors from Watford Borough Council have graded the cafes and takeaway on hygienic food handling, cleanliness of their facilities and management of food safety.
They gave Load of Hay, a pub at 207 Pinner Road, a four-out-of five rating when they visited on October 18.
This means that the pub's hygiene has been rated as 'good'.
Load of Hay describes itself as "a well established gay venue in Watford" and has been in the town for over 20 years.
Also receiving a new rating was Square Pizza House, a takeaway at 5 Langley Road, which was handed a three-star rating when it was inspected on October 17.
This means it has been rated as 'generally satisfactory'.

The ratings come after one of the town's most highly-rated restaurants was hit with a one-out-of-five rating.
Watford Borough Council inspected Humo, in King Street, on September 18 and gave it the second lowest possible grade.
The eatery, holding a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor which places it among the town's best restaurants from customer reviews, appealed the score but the original decision was confirmed and published online last week.
Humo director Pirathiepan Navendan claimed the issue was solely down to paperwork issues and sought to reassure customers that the issues were resolved within 12 hours of the inspection.
