Free bowling is on offer at two alleys in Watford if customers fulfil an unusual – but not too tricky – requirement.
To celebrate the release of the film Wicked, Hollywood Bowl has made a major offer for all of its locations on Saturday (November 23) and Sunday (November 24).
Any walk-in customers wearing a witch's hat will bowl for free and pre-booked customers will get an upgrade to the VIP lanes (subject to availability) or a voucher for a free game in the future.
Hollywood Bowl operations director David Williams said: “The excitement has been building ever since the announcement that Wicked the movie was being made.
“It’s a story all about friendship and at Hollywood Bowl, and Putt & Play we love to see friends and families have fun together.

“That’s why we wanted to celebrate the release of this highly anticipated film – we’ll be casting the fun in all our centres.
“I can’t wait to see some witch’s hat-wearing guests celebrate in our centres – those that miss out will be green with envy.”
There are two locations in Watford, at Woodside Leisure Park and inside atria Watford.
Hollywood Bowl’s VIP lanes offer lounge seating, special bowling balls, and table service. Watford Woodside is listed as having VIP lanes, but Watford Atria is not.
