Flip Out has revealed when it intends to open its indoor adventure park in Watford - with not long left to wait.
The company confirmed in August that the multimillion pound venue will fill part of the former John Lewis unit in the atria Watford.
A spokesperson for the new venue has today (November 19) confirmed to the Watford Observer that an opening is planned for the second half of December - meaning families could get to enjoy all it has to offer before Christmas.
announced in August that it intends to remodel the basement of the department store and transform it into a 33,0000 square foot adventure playground.
Flip OutThe attractions for families and children to enjoy include a large 'Ninja Playground', high-tech dodgems, roller skating rink, donut slides, trampolines and a “huge” inflatable area.
It also promises to offer the entertainment chain’s “most immersive” Laser Quest experience, where players will compete against each other in a space-themed stage with bright lights, special effects and mazes.
Food and drink will also be served, with a Costa Coffee on site as well as a diner which will offer pizza and burgers.

Flip Out is owned by We Do Play, with the company's co-owner Richard Beese saying earlier this year that his team are "over the moon" to be launching in Watford.
He said: “We can’t wait to start on the build at atria Watford.
"The team at the shopping centre are great to work with and are ensuring that the whole experience for us, from taking on the lease to starting the transformation of the former John Lewis site, goes smoothly.”
It will be the 32nd Flip Out venue in England and the first to open in Hertfordshire.
The John Lewis closed in 2020 and the unit has been divided up in recent years, with Poundland, Dunelm, Peacocks, and Choice all moving in.
Flip Out's arrival in Watford is one of a number of recent or upcoming additions to the ever-changing town centre.
Gail's recently opened to acclaim in the former Diva unit, while Oliver Bonas is set open in atria Watford next month.
There are also plans for Subway to replace what was formerly McDonald's by the Exchange Road flyover.
