A Meriden family has once again set the bar for Halloween decorations with an incredible Stranger Things-themed display.

Emma Bowie, her husband Alan and their son Kyle had youngsters teeming around their home in Fairfolds enjoying the jaw-dropping scene, which included a ‘floating body’ in the sky and a gigantic spider-like creature engulfing the window.

Videos from the evening show youngsters joyfully screaming as they lined the street and gazed up at the property, which was also covered in shadows and illuminated red.

“Everyone that came was so impressed and the kids were so excited and overwhelmed.”

Watford boxer Anthony Joshua also reportedly dropped by for a sneak peek and offered to help out next year – so watch this space!

“Social media was flooded with our night and Jcasemedia (Jamie Smith) the camera man did a wonderful job with the filming for social media.”

Emma said word got around so quickly that there were around 300 kids with the queue “so big it was leading down the road”.

“Now everyone is asking what we are doing next year so now we have our thinking caps on.”

Social media was awash with compliments, with one person writing: “Looks amazing. I took a picture of your house this morning and put on my Facebook. Looks insane.”

“Omg my kids will love that,” another wrote, while someone else added: “Your Pennywise was really scary last year… this looks worse, I love it, see you later with my little nephew, thanks for doing this every year.”
