Level 42 are the first band confirmed to perform at the currently closed Watford Colosseum.
The venue is set to reopen in 2025 after undergoing renovations and will host the band on Saturday, October 15, 2025, however, this may not be the first performance to take place at the venue.
They will be playing there as part of their 'World Machine' album 40th Anniversary Tour.
Level 42's tour, which celebrates the band's breakthrough album, will take them to 28 UK venues starting in Aberdeen and concluding at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Mark King, of Level 42, said: "I am so excited to be able to announce The 'World Machine' 40th Anniversary Tour for 2025.
"As our amazing fans will know, 'World Machine' marked a turning point in the band’s career, not least in the international success the album gave us.
"So, I am looking forward to seeing you all out there next autumn when we can romp through all those songs again together."
The 'World Machine' album, released in 1985, was a significant milestone in the English jazz-funk band's career and has sold over two million copies.
