A new Turkish restaurant looks set to open in Watford after another business closed.
The former Mekan Bar and Grill unit in St Albans Road now has new black signage with blue and white lettering showing that ‘Sizzle ‘n Fizzle Kitchen’ will be opening in the unit.
There is limited information available about the business, but it will be serving Turkish cuisine and was incorporated in September this year with the unit (number 202) as its registered address.

Prior to being converted into a restaurant in 2021, the location was operated as White Rose Dry Cleaners for many years.
Although it appears open on Google Maps, the Mekan Bar and Grill website currently states that it has closed.
At the time of its closure earlier this year the former occupier, also a Turkish restaurant, held a 1/5 food hygiene rating following a Watford Borough Council inspection on January 16.
