Staff at a Watford restaurant enjoyed a visit from a Love Island finalist.

Sean Stone, who came third alongside Matilda Draper in this summer’s series, stopped by Wingers in The Parade on Wednesday morning (October 16).

The 24-year-old sweet salesman was filming TikTok content in a campaign with the company’s Watford franchise and also shared a day in the life video showing a behind-the-scenes look at the production.

Sean described the food as 10/10 and said it was “such a fun morning”. However, he admitted was “in a food chicken coma by 11am” after a huge breakfast at the takeaway.

“He’s fairly local, he’s been in the area a few times and I think he had come to us before so the Wingers head office reached out to him,” said Wingers Watford co-franchisee Raj Dhillon.

“He tried the food and he really enjoyed it.”

Wingers started serving its wings, tenders, burgers, wraps and loaded fries in the town centre on May 29.

So far Sean, from Hertford, has released three videos from the visit.

Watford has proved popular with Love Island contestants recently. Ronnie Vint was at Walkabout last month before Lucinda Strafford shopped at Atria Watford last August and Kady McDermott did the same that December.
