Residents are invited to enjoy a spooky evening as a specialist late night event returns to Watford Market.

Watford Market will be filled with Halloween-themed activities, food, and drinks on Friday, November 1, as the Market Lates event returns.

Organised by Watford Borough Council and Saunders Markets Ltd, the event will take place from 6pm to 10pm.

The evening will feature live music from The Fillers at 6pm and The Razorz at 7.30pm, a walk-through magician, free face painting, and family-friendly entertainment.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of food, including Caribbean, Asian and Korean street food, from the market's popular food stalls.

The market will be decorated for Halloween, and people are encouraged to attend in fancy dress.

This event follows the success of previous Halloween night market events in the town.

Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said: "The Halloween ‘Market Lates’ event is set to be a great evening for everyone.

"After the success of previous events, we’re excited to bring back this popular night, with great food, live entertainment, and a fun atmosphere for all.

"It’s a great opportunity to support local vendors and enjoy a family-friendly evening in the heart of the town."

There is no charge for entry to the Market Lates event.
