A major coffee chain has asked for permission to open a branch in Watford until 5am.
Costa Coffee applied to change its premises licence for its Watford Arches Retail Park drive-thru on Saturday, October 5.
If Watford Borough Council approves the change, the drive thru will be allowed to provide late night refreshment from 11pm until 5am Monday to Sunday.

- Tim Hortons granted permission to open 24/7 in Watford
Members of the public can make representations for or against the application until Saturday, November 2.
Although it has applied for permission to open until 5am, this does not necessarily mean it would open quite that late.
The café, which currently opens until 9pm Monday to Saturday and 7pm on Sundays, would need the same licence to sell hot food and drink any time after 11pm.
It opened in January 2020.
Representations can be sent to Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX Tel: 01923 278476 Fax: 01923 278627 Email: licensing@watford.gov.uk.
