Eagle-eyed passers-by have spotted filming taking place at Watford’s former police station.

Security have largely remained tight-lipped about what is being filmed at the Shady Lane station this week, as crews are at work on the site, but it is apparently for a TV murder mystery.

There also appears to be filming taking place at the old magistrates’ court around the corner in Clarendon Road, which closed in 2017.

No further details of what is being filmed have been shared so far.

It comes after The Conjuring actors Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga were spotted in Cassiobury Park on Monday (September 30). Many have speculated that scenes were being shot for an upcoming instalment in the series, The Conjuring: Last Rites, set to release next year.
