One of the most popular places for a roast dinner was the Prince George pub in St Albans Road which serves four types of roast.
Customers can choose from the short rib of beef, lamb shoulder, the belly of pork and mushroom and lentil oat loaf.
Prince George has a rating of 4.5/5 on Tripadvisor, with one fan sharing: "We visited on a Sunday and our group had the beef, pork and lamb. It was the best roast I’ve ever had !! So delicious, will definitely return if in the area again."
Also mentioned was The Royal Oak on Watford Heath, popular for its wide choice of roasts.

The Royal Oak serves the likes of roast beef, roast lamb shoulder, slow-roasted pork belly as well as the mushroom and butternut oat roast.
The Three Crowns in Bushey was also given the thumbs-up as many said they enjoyed the roast chicken, pork, topside beef and cashew and cranberry nut roast.
