Christmas will become that little bit more magical this year for visitors to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London as the much-loved Hogwarts in the Snow feature, and Dinner in the Great Hall event, make welcome returns.

The Leavesden-based attraction is always particularly popular during the festive season as the tour embraces winter and Christmas, and the special Hogwarts in the Snow addition will be available from November 16 until January 19.

Visitors will be welcomed into the magnificent Great Hall, adorned in festive scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

This year, a new addition to the Studio Tour will allow fans to uncover the magic behind how Hagrid was created.

In a demonstration, visitors will see the animatronic head used in the Harry Potter film series and experience the charming snowy scene where Hagrid drags an enormous Christmas tree through the grounds of Hogwarts.

Brand new to this feature is a frozen Hogwarts fountain, as seen in the Clock Tower Courtyard in the Harry Potter film series, which will adorn the Backlot area of the Studio Tour.

Elsewhere in the Studio Tour, the Hogwarts castle model will be covered in a blanket of snow using the same techniques from the Harry Potter film series.

Beloved sets such as the Great Hall, Gryffindor common room, Forbidden Forest and Diagon Alley will be dressed in their festive finery.

Particularly attentive guests will be able to uncover the hidden location of a miniature snowman and discover the filmmaking secrets behind creating flames that don’t burn and ice that never melts.

Meanwhile, Dinner in the Great Hall is on offer from December 9 to 11 and, for one night only, children are welcome to attend a Family Dinner in the Great Hall taking place on December 13.

Dessert will be served on Platform 9 ¾ beside the original Hogwarts Express locomotive.

Following dinner, guests are free to exclusively explore the festive Studio Tour after hours.
