After a jam-packed summer, Watford still has many things to look forward to for the rest of the year, including the town's first edition of Oktoberfest and the popular Cassiobury Fireworks.
There is sure to be something for everyone on the list, from history buffs to families with kids, with both free and paid events on offer.

Heritage Open Days
Dates: September 6 to 17
Price: free
The Heritage Open Days will see local landmarks around Watford open their doors for residents to learn about their historical significance.
The series of free events and open days include a guided tour of the Pump House Theatre as well as a history talk hosted by the Watford Museum.
Hertfordshire Oktoberfest
Dates: October 4 and 5
Price: tickets start at £16.70
Hertfordshire Oktoberfest is coming to Watford for the first time this autumn, offering a live Oompah band, axe throwing, German beer in extra-large stein glasses and “gourmet” food.
The German-themed carnival will be based in Cassiobury Park from Friday, October 5, to Saturday, October 6, with tickets starting at £16.70.
Market Lates
Date: Friday November 1, 6pm to 10pm
Price: free
November will see the last in this year's series of Market Lates evenings, where residents can enjoy craft beer, street food, and a pop-bar to the soundtrack of live music.
The last evening will take place on November 1 from 6pm to 10pm at the Watford Market.
Cassiobury Fireworks
Date: Saturday November 2, 6pm to 8.30pm
Price: free
Watford's night sky will be lit up when the Cassiobury Fireworks kick off at 7.30pm on Saturday, November 2.
The free event will have something for everyone with a variety of food and drink stalls, funfair rides, bungee trampolines and a bouncy slide to keep children entertained before the main event.
Christmas Market
Date: Sunday December 8, 10am to 3pm
Price: free
A special Christmas edition of the Watford Market will take place on Sunday, December 8, as traders will be selling a range of goods and gifts to help you fill up your friends and loved-one's stockings.
