The lease for a takeaway chain’s Watford location has been put on the market for a new business to take it over.
Papa Johns confirmed its St Albans Road branch was one of 43 set to close by mid-May in an announcement in March, this year.
It has since been boarded up and painted black, with the fixtures and fittings removed from the interior.

Today (September 6), a listing for the leasehold was shared via chartered surveyors Perry Holt.
A new restaurant business or chain looking to open there would need to pay £24,000 per year in rent for the unit, which spans 838-square-feet or around the size of five parking spaces.
The brochure highlights that the previous tenant left the extractor fan in situ and it benefits from a built in cold store room, rear storage, and rear access.
The Market Street, Watford, Papa Johns location remains open for trading.
