B&M is set to launch tomorrow in the former John Lewis unit months after it was confirmed.
The discount chain’s new location in atria Watford will officially early at 9am tomorrow, September 5, joining its existing store in High Street.
Once open, the branch will be trading from 9am to 6pm everyday with a 5pm finish on Sundays.
Hoarding marked “coming soon” appeared on part of atria Watford's lower mall level in March, but the discount chain kept quiet on when it planned to open until late August.
Photos show that the shopfront now appeared to be completely finished ahead of the much-awaited opening.
There were signs the business was working towards the launch when it applied for a premises licence in early August, which would allow it to sell alcohol at the branch.
B&M is one of the last businesses to move into the John Lewis unit, which was divided up after the department store shut its doors in 2020 during the pandemic.
Poundland, Dunelm, Peacocks, and Choice have all already opened, while it was recently revealed that Flip Out will convert the 33,000 square foot basement space into a huge indoor adventure park which will open later this year.
Note: this story has been updated because B&M previously stated the launch was at 8am, it has now confirmed it will open at 9am.
