The best thing about Watford according to locals

One Watford local had a lot of praise for the region: "Our local pubs. Full of people we know. A mall full of shops. Plenty of places to eat. Lots of open spaces. Lots of things for kids to do. Free events for all. A great little theatre. Two cinemas, a games arcade. transport links to London. Easy access to the countryside. M25 on the doorstep. Diverse population."

Cassiobury Park was one of the most popular answers, with one person saying: "Walking in Cassiobury Park and seeing all the trees in their glorious colour."

Another added: "Cassiobury Park, all the woodlands and green spaces."

Others praised the choice of shops: "Great choice of shops in the town centre, great parks, fantastic transport links (public transport and motorway), good schools, Pump House and Palace Theatre, friendly people."
