Tickets to see one of Britain’s most famous comedians perform in Watford next week will go on general sale tomorrow morning.
Ricky Gervais will take to the Watford Palace Theatre stage on Monday, September 2 to debut new material in his Work In Progress show.
Tickets, starting at £25, went on priority sale at 10am this morning to those in the Clarendon Road theatre’s ‘Palace Pal’ membership scheme before going on general sale at 10am tomorrow.
A “strict limit” of four tickets per person will apply and these are expected to sell out quickly, so anyone wanting to see the show is advised to book quickly.

Considered one of the most influential British comedians, Gervais is the creator and star of The Office, Extras, Derek, and the critically acclaimed Netflix hit After Life, as well as five-time controversial Golden Globe award host.

It won a Golden Globe, was the global number one most-watched show on Netflix, and followed a record-breaking international tour, selling out 85 arena dates across the world.
Gervais’s show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest-grossing comedy gig ever.
The comedian has won numerous awards across his career, enjoying huge critical success for the outstanding three series of After Life. His hit series The Office is the most successful British comedy of all time, shown in more than 90 countries, with 13 remakes.
