The UK’s largest pub company is seeking a new operator for a boozer “five minutes from the heart of Watford”.
The Dick Whittington in Prestwick Road, South Oxhey, is described as a family pub which forms a key part of its community.
According to the listing shared this week, it has recently undergone renovations to bring improvements to all of its trading areas.

The pub is available for a £46,000 annual rent if an interested operator is able to put down a £11,500 deposit.
Stonegate’s regional manager for the area said: “The Dick Whittington is a business that is waiting to have its full potential realised.
“This is a busy pub and therefore needs an experienced publican to utilise their expertise and focus on the family trade at weekends, which is essential to making this pub work.
“The current clientele comprises locals from the community with a wide variety of ages.”
It added that an important aspect of making a success of the pub is running regular events through the week to give customers multiple reasons to visit.
The Dick Whittington is continuing to operate as normal.
