An iconic noughties pop singer will take to the stage on this weekend as Hertfordshire’s annual LGBTQ+ event returns to Watford.
Herts Pride 2024 is coming to Cassiobury Park on Saturday, August 31, with the theme of "Reflections of a Rainbow", which organisers said symbolised the “diversity and unity within our vibrant community”.

When is the festival?
The festival takes place on Saturday, August 31 between 12pm and 10pm.
Where will it take place?
Herts Pride returns to Cassiobury Park, Watford in 2024.
What to expect?
There will be something for everyone among the event’s various attractions, including a fun fair and sports zone with Zumba classes.
The Herts Pride Dog Show will see local pooches “strut their stuff”, while an outdoor market will offer a variety of street food caterers and stalls selling unique items.
Who is headlining?
The 12th edition of the event will see 2002 Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates headline the mainstage, alongside singer Angie Brown, known for her 1992 hit I’m Gonna Get You.
Several other music acts will be performing including Soraya Vivian, Cherry Liqour, and Ashby.
In between acts hosts Fiona Flange, Allen Jay and Stephanie Von Clitz will keep crowds entertained.
How much does it cost?
Limited tickets are available online at www.hertspride.org and cost £12 for adults and £8 for young people aged 13-17 or can be purchased on the day.
All adult ticket purchases come with free entry to an afterparty at Popworld Watford from 10pm till late.
