New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Watford’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Popeyes at Intu Watford, 43 High Street, Watford; rated on August 21
• Rated 5: Italian Wood Fired Pizza at 159 The Parade High Street, Watford; rated on August 13
• Rated 5: Kokoro at 52 High Street, Watford; rated on August 13
• Rated 5: Southern Cross at The Southern Cross Hotel, 41 - 43 Langley Road, Watford; rated on August 13.
It means that of Watford's 213 similar establishments with ratings, 150 (70 per cent) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
