What's the best restaurant in Watford according to locals? Â
Many said that their favourite restaurant was L'artista, a pizzeria that has been around for over 15 years set on Watford High Street.
Known for its homemade pizzas, L'artista uses dough that is freshly prepared and creates a variety of pasta from all over Italy.
For pizza, the Watford restaurant serves the likes of a Napoli, a Margherita, Americana, Regina and a classic Proscuitto.
On Tripadvisor L'artista has a rating of 4/5, with one local saying: "Fantastic food, great ambience and the staff go the extra mile. I have to say that whenever we have guests, something to celebrate, or just want to eat a delicious meal we head to L’artista."
Watford residents also gave praise to Opuz Kitchen, a family-run Turkish Grill and Bar that is described as a "luxurious haven for tourists and locals alike".
Opuz Kitchen's menu items include Chicken Shish, Spicy Lamb Skewer, Chilli Chicken Fillet, Sea Bass Fillets and Lamb Shank.
On Tripadvisor, the restaurant has a score of 4.5/5 with one happy guest sharing: "This has become our go-to restaurant in Watford. The food is always excellent, service is friendly & professional, and prices are reasonable."
Many locals said their favourite restaurant was Mr Ting, which serves "authentic Thai cuisine" including chicken green curry, pad prik khing, chicken pad ka pao, spicy duck and roasted duck in red curry sauce.
With an impressive 4.5/5 rating, one guest to Mr Ting said: "I've been eating at Mr Ting's for years, and it really is the best Thai food this side of (and including) Bangkok."

Cassio Lounge was very popular among Watford locals, the high street spot is famous for its fun interior and has an impressive menu to go along with it.
Items include tapas with salt and pepper squid, honey whipped feta and Patatas bravas along with burgers like the Lounge Bacon Cheeseburger and the Chicken Kyiv Burger.
One Tripadivosr user said: "Cracking little spot for brunch. It's great for vegans, veggies and those that love bacon and pancakes! The drink selection is also pretty top-notch."
