The new series of a successful TV show is set to premier soon after filming at Watford General Hospital over four months.
West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, which operates the Vicarage Road hospital, has told residents to “save the date” as it was shared that Emma Willis: Delivering Babies will return from Thursday, September 5, on UKTV owned channel U&W.
Filming took place over four months, starting at the end of January after the production company put out a call for expectant local parents due to give birth during the filming period who were interested in being part of the series.

Ahead of the start of filming, the former Big Brother presenter said: “I have a nervous excitement about continuing my training at a brand-new hospital, which means a totally new ward and team to learn from and work alongside.
“It's always an honour and privilege to gain an insight into the incredible role maternity care teams play in such an emotional and vulnerable time for expectant parents."
Previous series of the award-winning documentary saw Emma Willis get stuck-in training to become a maternity care assistant at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow but for series four it moves to Watford General Hospital.

Over the course of 10 weeks, Emma is challenged to step up her training as she tries to qualify as a maternity support worker, one level up from her previous job.
Emma added: “My love and thanks go to everyone at the Princess Alexandra Hospital who have been a vital part of this adventure so far.
“They're a special bunch and I'll miss them very much... I can't wait to get stuck in at a new hospital for what is sure to be another amazing opportunity to shine a light on one of the toughest but most rewarding vocations.”
The first of six new episodes will apparently see the host off to a rocky start as she fails to bring the right shoes for her more hands-on role. Later, she will face the biggest challenge of her NHS career, running an ante-natal clinic for expectant mums without any supervision.
Trust chief nurse Kelly McGovern said: “We are honoured to have Emma Willis join us to highlight the exceptional dedication of maternity staff across the trust and the compassionate care they provide to parents and newborns."
