West Watford residents turned out for a community summer fair at St Michael's Church.
The event, brimming with activities, food and stalls took place on August 3 on the church green and housed an array of trinkets, crafts and henna art.
The community-spirited event saw 15-year-old Amber Razzaq keep revellers well-fed with a variety of homemade cakes.
A spokesperson for the event said: "The green outside St Michael's Church was transformed into a bustling hub of activity.
"From homemade cakes and pastries to savoury snacks and refreshing beverages, there was something to satisfy every palate.
"One of the most heart-warming aspects of the fair was the strong sense of community spirit.
"Neighbours came together to volunteer and help out, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
"From setting up stalls to serving food and organising activities, the collective effort of the community was evident.
"This collaboration not only made the event a success but also strengthened the bonds between residents."
Margaret Daniels, a resident and volunteer for the event, added: "What I loved most about the day was the sense of community; the neighbours coming together and meeting new people to support a worthy cause."
In line with this camaraderie was the successful fundraising for Twilight Health CIC, orchestrated by Dr Nasrin Razzaq, who organised the event.
